[Video/Action for Goldenrod]

Looks like we've finally made it! It's been a long trip, but my Pokémon and I have arrived safely in Goldenrod. I regret not being able to take it at a slower pace, but hopefully the time we spend here will make up for it.

[He pauses here, looking thoughtful.]

I've been... curious, to say the least. In the time I've spent here, I've heard of a few different worlds, and they all seem to have differing views on the subject of magic. So now, I would like to bring the question to all of Johto - what is magic like in your world? If it doesn't exist, what is it supposedly like? My own world relies on magic, so I can't help but wonder.

[Later; Action at the Breeding Centre]

[Asuma arrives, Reika the Gloom following him as always. He's mostly just checking the place out for now, but he'll probably make his way to the front desk at some point. Bother? Help the guy out? It's up to you!]

Un! Written.. [[just a moment as he gets out some paper to spell it out properly]] Like that.

Got it. Seitaad it is!

[He looks at the newly christened Seitaad, who just... tilts its head in confusion. What's going on?]

[[yeay, he helped with naming again!]]

Nice to meet you, Seitaad! [[smiles at the confused pokemon]]

[...Yeah it has no idea what's going on, so. Sleepytimes I guess. Asuma just chuckles.]

I'm sure Seitaad will warm up to the name eventually.

Un, I'm sure he will. It take a little while for some of them to realize they've been named. [[a smile]]

They're all surprisingly intelligent though, don't you think? It normally takes animals in my world a lot longer to respond to any kind of training.

Most of them, un! I never had a pet or anything back home, so I'm note really sure how they'd compare there... but they're as smart as people, most of them! [[Just very child like]]

I never had a pet, either, but I've never heard of animals learning so quickly. It's amazing.

It really is. [[nods with a fond smile]]

I'm already looking forwards to whichever other Pokémon I happen to befriend.

Un, me too!

Are there any in particular you're keeping an eye out for?

Mostly ghost types, really.. [[so sheepish. Despite the setback at the first gym... yeah, ghost types all the way for this dork.]]

Are those your favorites, then?

Un. Even before coming here, those types were always my favorites.

Why the interest, if you don't mind me asking? Is it just because of their abilities, or...?

It's just something I've always been interested in! [[his dead sister and mother have nothing to do with it, no no, why would you think that!]] Even when my mother would always tell me stories when I was little.

I see. And how many Ghost-types have you found so far?

I have six so far! Amane-chan, Fuushi, Gollum, Dama, Kage and Shinigami.

Six? Wow. What kinds are they?

Amane-chan's a Misdreavus, Fuushi a Drifloon, Golum a Sableye, Dama is a Gastly, Kage a Shuppet and Shinigami is a Duskull!

That's an impressive list! How many other Ghost-types are there? Do you know?

I'm not sure! I guess I'll find out when I have them all, ne?
