[Video/Action for Goldenrod]

Looks like we've finally made it! It's been a long trip, but my Pokémon and I have arrived safely in Goldenrod. I regret not being able to take it at a slower pace, but hopefully the time we spend here will make up for it.

[He pauses here, looking thoughtful.]

I've been... curious, to say the least. In the time I've spent here, I've heard of a few different worlds, and they all seem to have differing views on the subject of magic. So now, I would like to bring the question to all of Johto - what is magic like in your world? If it doesn't exist, what is it supposedly like? My own world relies on magic, so I can't help but wonder.

[Later; Action at the Breeding Centre]

[Asuma arrives, Reika the Gloom following him as always. He's mostly just checking the place out for now, but he'll probably make his way to the front desk at some point. Bother? Help the guy out? It's up to you!]

Did you have an easy time adjusting, yourself? It seems to me that everyone took a little getting used to this place, no matter what kind of world they come from.

It wasn't difficult. The technology here is mostly similar to the one in my world. The creatures, of course, were different, but I had some acquaintances who helped me get used to this world.

That's good to hear. The people in Johto are really helpful, aren't they?

They are, though those people were also from my world.

Even luckier! Who exactly are they, if you don't mind me asking?

... Most of them are gone, now. One of them was a man named Larry Butz.

[ He shakes his head. ] They returned home, that's all. I'm just here longer than them.

That is very true. Still, I'd imagine it's still painful at times...

You must be strong to deal with that.

I don't think I'm that strong, or weak. They're just going home, so it's not as bad to think about it than if it was anything else.

Has your stay here been a good one, at least?

I'd say so. It's been pleasant.

That's good to hear. Are you challenging the Gyms while you're in Johto, or...?

I am. I've been to three of the gyms so far. Yourself?

I am a breeder, so I'll be trying for a job in Goldenrod. I may have to have a go at some of the gyms later, though.

A job? [ He tilts his head. ] Have you any plans?

Beyond that... not really. I'd like to spend some time trying to learn how best to breed Pokémon if I can, though.

... Goldenrod's got that one center, doesn't it?

That's right. I'd heard they were hiring, so I was hoping to get a job there.

I hope you're prepared. It sounds quite rowdy there sometimes...

Ohhh? Is that so? Sounds exciting to me.

I-If you say so.

It's been a while since I've lived with a lot of people. I'm looking forwards to it!
