Looks like we've finally made it! It's been a long trip, but my Pokémon and I have arrived safely in Goldenrod. I regret not being able to take it at a slower pace, but hopefully the time we spend here will make up for it.

[He pauses here, looking thoughtful.]

I've been... curious, to say the least. In the time I've spent here, I've heard of a few different worlds, and they all seem to have differing views on the subject of magic. So now, I would like to bring the question to all of Johto - what is magic like in your world? If it doesn't exist, what is it supposedly like? My own world relies on magic, so I can't help but wonder.

[Later; Action at the Breeding Centre]

[Asuma arrives, Reika the Gloom following him as always. He's mostly just checking the place out for now, but he'll probably make his way to the front desk at some point. Bother? Help the guy out? It's up to you!]

Beyond that... not really. I'd like to spend some time trying to learn how best to breed Pokémon if I can, though.

I was home alone often, but no. I've never traveled alone before.

It gives you a lot of time to reflect, that's for sure. But it can also get a bit dull at times.
